She received many criticisms, both positive and negative, for this role. She have recently done a guest role in Housefull, directed by Linson Antony. Meanwhile, she also stepped into Tamil through a movie directed by cameraman Madhu Ambatt, the shooting of which is in progress.Recently she directed a short film Pacha. Pacha has the voice by actress Bhama. There are songs too in the film, and a poem which has been sung by actress Ananya.


Sarayu is born to Mohan & Uma as the only child of her parents.She did her schooling from GVHSS Ernakulam and did her graduation on BA Literature at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. She is currently doing her post graduate degree in Literature from Annamalai University. She is also a dancer & is based in Ernakulam.
