Kirat Bhattal professionally known as Kirat or Keerath is a Jat-Sikh Indian film actress. She debuted in modelling roles and then made a breakthrough in the Tamil film industry.

Kirat did her schooling at the elite boarding school The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Some of whose famous alumni are Omar Abdullah, Maneka Gandhi, Sanjay Dutt, Apoorva Lakhia, Saif Ali Khan, and former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh .

Kirat debuted in the Safi ad and then went onto to various other campaigns like Fair and Lovely, Siyaram and the Lakme adverts with a fellow Indian, Raima Sen, who has since gone on to make it big in the Bollywood film industry. Kirat debuted in Dongodi Pelli, Telugu film. She was then signed by Saran for her first major film, Vattaram after Anushka Shetty had pulled out of the project. Vattaram also features Arya and Napoleon. Vattaram tells the story of a gun seller`s love. Arya expressed his desirity to work with Kirat again in the future after Vattaram.

She signed up to do the prestigious project Desiya Nedunchalai 47 with Dhanush but however, the project was delayed and later cancelled. As the film had remained inactive for about three months, Bhattal had signed a Kannada language movie titled, Geleya opposite Prajwal Devaraj which was declared a hit. Most recently, she accepted a guest role in the film Santosh Subramaniam, which is a remake of the Telugu language film, Bommarillu which stars Genelia and Jayam Ravi.She has got rave reviews or her role in the film even though it is a short one. A few reviews have said that she outshine the heroine Genilia. She was also confirmed for the lead role in the Telugu film Yamadonga starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. but turned it down at the last minute citing other commitments, the film went on to become a huge hit, grossing 30 crores in the first month of its release. She has also signed a Tamil film with director Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kadhal and Dorai with Arjun Sarja in the lead role.

Kirat has also been brand ambassador for various products including Lakme, Claeres, Fair and Lovely, Motorola and Macleans and the new tbz t.v commercial.

Navdeep; Navdeep Pallapolu is a regional Indian actor.

Navdeep has appeared in both Telugu and Tamil films, portraying diverse characters. Navdeep's first film appearance was in the 2004 Telugu romantic film, Jai, in which he played an Indian boxer fighting against Laskar-E-Taiba terrorists. In the 2005 Tamil blockbuster Arinthum Ariyamalum, he portrayed the son of the don, Prakash Raj, who was estranged from his father. He has also given his voice to an HIV/AIDS education animated software tutorial created by the nonprofit organization TeachAIDS. He also acted in Arya 2 alongside Allu Arjun.

Monal Naval (January 26, 1981 - April 30, 2002) was an Indian film actress who appeared in Tamil language films. She was the sister of actress Simran and appeared in notable productions including Badri alongside Vijay. She committed suicide in 2002.

Monal did her schooling in Delhi and college in Bombay and studied for the Bachelor of Commerce degree in Mithibai College. She did some modelling, fashion shows and beauty contests and subsequently received film offers. Monal's sister Simran was a leading actress in Indian films during the period, while another sister Jyoti made her debut in 2003.  She made her debut in 2001 and was reported by the media for throwing tantrums on the sets of her first film.  She was signed to make her debut in Badri alongside Vijay but Paarvai Ondre Podhume with Kunal Singh released first.

She appeared in a few more films, with most turning out to be moderate successes at the box office. At the time of the death she was working on Dadagiri, a Telugu film which featured her opposite Suman and the film remained uncompleted.  On the day of her death, she had attended the launch of her new film Paiye Janmam, literally translating into "Ghost Life".

She committed suicide by hanging on 30 April 2002 aged just 21 in her room in Chennai.  Her sister Simran in May 2002 accused choreographer, Prasanna Sujit, as a possible reason for her suicide claiming that Prasanna had broke off his relationship with her just days earlier.

Sreeram was born on 26 January 1956 in Madras, (now Chennai, Tamil Nadu). He was the third child in the family and has two sisters. Sreeram's aspiration towards films grew much during his childhood days. He was educated at the Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai.

As a student he was not interested in studies and only managed to pass the exams. He developed an early interest in photography and years after struggle he joined the Madras Film Institute to do a course in cinematography.PC Sreeram in his teens when he was a student in the film institute had a long association with the budding creators of his generation. Together with his friends Kamal Hassan, C. Rudhraiya, Santhana Bharathi, Radharavi, R. C. Sakthi and few others they were called sanmac group where they used to join together at a hotel in Chennai and share their learnings about cinema and future dreams of making a perfect cinema.

Sreeram is married and had a daughter named Swetha who died in 2010 and son Skanda pursuing his studies in Australia His niece, Preetha Jayaraman, a now established cinematographer in the Tamil Film industry, was inspired to her calling largely by her uncle's work in the field.
After receiving a diploma from the Madras Film Institute in 1979,Sreeram made his cinematic debut in the early 1980s. One of his earlier works Meendum Oru Kaathal Kathai won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director in 1984. After a few unsuccessful films he worked with Mani Ratnam for the first time in Mouna Ragam (1986). The film gave a much needed breakthrough for both Ratnam and Sreeram. Following the success of Mouna Ragam, the pair went on to work in Nayagan.

The film went on to win three National Film Awards at the 35th National Film Awards with Sreeram securing his first National Film Award. He used new techniques in the camera for their next film Agni Natchathiram and was praised very much for his work. The pair went on to work in a Telugu film titled Geethanjali in 1989. The film met with critical acclaim and commercial success as it won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and seven Nandi Awards including the Best Story and Best Cinematography awards for Ratnam and Sreeram respectively.

During the early 1990s, Sreeram worked in a number of films such as Gopura Vasalile (1991), Thevar Magan (1992) and Mani Ratnam's Thiruda Thiruda. Sreeram made his directional debut in 1992, with the film Meera starring Vikram and Aishwarya in the lead roles. The film was a poor grosser at the box-office due to its delay in release.

Sreeram directed his second film Kuruthipunal (1995), a police story based on the Hindi film Drohkaal. The film had Kamal Haasan and Arjun playing the lead roles was an official entry made by India to the Oscars in 1996. The film was showcased at the Rotterdam International Film Festival under the category "Director in Focus" eight years after its release.

Sreeram's third directional venture titled Vaanam Vasappadum, was the first film in India to use high-definition digital technology. The film was shown at the Mumbai International Film Festival besides a screening at the ninth International Film Festival of Kerala. In 2007 Sreeram made his Bollywood debut with R. Balki's Cheeni Kum that starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.He worked again with Balki in Paa (2009). The film won four National Film Awards in 2010. As of January 2016, Sreeram is working in the Tamil film Remo.

Sreeram is well known for his longtime association with celebrated filmmakers and actors like Mani Ratnam, Moulee and Kamal Haasan. His work was well appreciated in films like Mouna Ragam, Nayagan, Geetaanjali, Thiruda Thiruda and Alaipayuthey.He has mentored some of the prominent cinematographers in the Indian film industry including Jeeva,M. S. Prabhu, Ramji, Chezhiyan, K. V. Anand,Tirru, Balasubramaniem and Nirav Shah.In January 2016, Sreeram was elected as the president of South Indian Film Cinematographers Association.
