Jayaprakash is an Indian film actor and producer. He ventured into film business in the early 2000s as a producer, making several films under his banner GJ Cinema and later turned actor, with Cheran's 2007 film, Mayakannadi. Subsequently performing a variety of supporting roles, he found more success as a character actor, with his most notable performances featuring in Pasanga, Naadodigal, Yuddham Sei, Naan Mahaan Alla and Mankatha.


Jayaprakash hails from Sirkazhi. Before entering the film industry, he had worked in various fields such as dairy farming, petrol business, transport and billiards parlour.


He started acting at age 45. His first film was Mayakannadi in 2007, following which he received more acting assignments. His role as the village school teacher, Chokkalingam, in Company Production's critically acclaimed Pasanga is considered his breakthrough performance, for which he received accolades and several awards. Apart from Pasanga, he essayed notable supporting roles in other commercially successful ventures such as Naadodigal, Vamsam, Naan Mahaan Alla, Bale Pandiya and Yudham Sei and Mankatha. He also appeared in Pandiraj's Marina.

As a producer he has produced several films like Chellamae, April Maadhathil, Thavasi and many more under his GJ Cinema banner. He hasn't starred in any of the film that he had produced. Before starting GJ Cinema banner he produced films like Porkaalam and Gopala Gopala with M. Kajamaideen under Roja Combines. Both GJ cinema and Roja Combines have been closed down for long time.

Jayaprakash is Maharashtrian by birth. He has two sons, Niranjan and Dushyanth, who turned actors with the 2010 M. Sasikumar film Eesan.

Sriman, born K. Srinivasa Reddy, is a character artist who appears in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. He is primarily known for his prominent roles in Sethu, Aayutha Ezhuthu, Panchathanthiram, Pokkiri and Aegan. He is the son of noted producer, Prakash Reddy.

Sriman was born in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh. His father Prakash Reddy is a popular assistant dance director and film producer, who has produced 22 Telugu films. His mother Jaya Lakshmi is a house wife. He has two siblings, a brother Prabhakaran and a sister Surekha. His uncle K. S. Reddy was a popular film Director. He did his schooling in Bharath Higher Secondary School, Adyar. He completed B.Com. from Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai. He was very fond of acting. He learnt Bharathanatyam from dance masters Sivashankar, Kala and Raghu. Other than his dancing skills, he is also trained in martial arts and gymnastics.

With a strong film background, he started his film career as a child artiste in the 1975 Telugu film Bangara Manushulu, but returned to continue his academic studies after acting in a few films. After his college studies he recapped his acting crown in Telugu film Dongalunnaru Jagartha. The film was not successful. He was spotted by director Vikraman and gave him a supporting role in his Tamil debut film Puthiya Mannargal. He enacted a supporting role in the Vijay-starrer Love Today, which he considers as a turning point in his career". He has frequently appeared in Kamal Haasan's comedy films during the 2000s, including Pammal K. Sambandam, Panchathantiram and Manmadan Ambu.

Vijay Menon is an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema.  He has acted in more than 100 films in all South Indian languages. He mainly handles in character roles and supporting roles.

Vijay Menon, born in London UK. His father Bhaskar Menon is from Ottapalam, Palakkad and mother Leela is from Chengannur, Alappuzha. He has a younger sister. He had his primary education from Lawrence School, Lovedale, Ootty. He studied direction course from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He went to director Bharathan with a dream to become an assistant director. But that time Bharathan was looking new faces for his movie Nidra, seeing his talent Bharathan cast him in his movie Nidra making his debut movie as the same. Film went on to a huge success and he was well noted for his performance. He writes articles in The Indian Express about International Politics.  He won Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing artist in 2011 for the movie Melvilasom.

Family

He is married to Kala. The couple have a daughter Malavika and a son Nikhil.

S.A. Chandrasekar is an Indian film director, producer and writer. He is the father of Kollywood actor Vijay.


He is married to Shoba, who is a singer. His son Vijay is one of Tamil Nadu\'s leading actors and his daughter Vidhya died at the age of 2. Sangeetha is his daughter-in-law.

Ananth Vaidyanathan is a leading voice expert in India. As of 2010 he is a part of the Airtel Super Singer and Josco Indian Voice-Mazhavil Manorama shows where he provides voice training to the contestants.Vaidyanathan was born in Jamshedpur and began studying music at a young age. He earned an MBA from XLRI and then joined the ITC Sangeet Research Academy. He began giving voice lessons in 2003 and training to contestants on various Indian TV shows in 2007.

Arundhati Nag (born c. 1956) is a prominent South Indian polyglot film actress and theatre personality. She has been involved with multilingual Theatre in India, for over 25 years, first in Mumbai where she got involved with Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA), and did various productions in Gujarati, Marathi, and Hindi theatre, besides getting involved in television, director Jyoti Vyas's Gujarati TV series, Haji Aavti Kaal Che. Later and after her marriage to Kannada actor-director Shankar Nag (1954–1990), her association with theatre continued in Bangalore, culminating in realising the dream project of her late husband, the Ranga Shankara theatre, at J P Nagar, a suburb in Bangalore. She was awarded the 2008 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in Theatre Acting by Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy of Music, Dance and Theatre. She was also awarded the 57th National Film Awards as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Paa.


Arundhati is the founder and the Managing Trustee of the Sanket Trust, established in 1992, which has Girish Karnad as its chairman, and which runs the Ranga Shankara, a Bangalore theatre which after four years of construction was inaugurated on 28 October 2004. Now the annual Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival has become a regular feature on Bangalore's cultural calendar.


Arundhati Rao was born in New Delhi to a Maharashtrian family and had three siblings. Her family moved to Bombay (now Mumbai) when she was 10. She was passionate about theatre in her school days. She joined an amateur theatre group in Mumbai and in her teen years, she was doing as many as 42 shows a month in Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi and English.

In 2006, she was awarded the 'Citizen Extraordinaire' Award by The Rotary Club of Bangalore. Arundhati's last major movie was the Kannada blockbuster Jogi, for which she also won the Karnataka Government's Best Supporting Actress award for the year 2005. Her most recent production has been Girish Karnad's Bikhre Bimb. Arundhati has also acted in other language films such as Minsara Kanavu (1997), dubbed into Hindi as Sapnay (1997), Dil Se.. (1998).


She has acted in the Indian National Award winning Marathi film 22 June 1897. In 2009, she acted in the film Paa. Her role earned her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination.

Ranvir Shah is an Indian social activist, theater actor, and businessman. He is the independent director and member of Remuneration committee for KCP Sugar and Industries Corporation.


He is the founder of Prakriti Arts Foundation. Through the foundation, Shah has organized and directed cultural festivals like the Parks New Festival, The Festival of Sacred Music at Thiruvaiyaru, The 2010 Poetry with Prakruti Festival, The Hindu Best Fiction Awards, Lit For Life, which celebrate music, literature, dance, theater and visual arts. He has worked with playwrights and performing artist's like Anita Ratnam, Chandralekha, Shankar Tucker, Manjula Padmanabhan, Maya Krishna Rao, Akram Khan, Aruna Sairam, Dominique Vellard etc.


In 1984, Shah has performed under Chandralekha's guidance in A. K. Ramanujan's play The Interior Landscape and other plays like Bhinna Pravah – The confluence. He has also appeared in Tamil Films like Minsara Kanavu, Anniyan etc.

Janagaraj is a veteran Tamil film actor who has generally played a comedian in his films, and provided stiff competition to the comic duo of Goundamani and Senthil. He has acted in over 100 Tamil films as a comedian or in supporting roles.

He was born to Vadivelu and Muthulakshmi in 1955 Tamil Nadu, India. He was interested in acting and began performing in local theatrical dramas. He was the tallest comedian.

In 1971, Janagaraj began to aspire for a movie career. Director K. Balachander offered him a chance to perform in very minor roles in several Tamil films from 1972 until 1977. It was in 1977 that he landed his first speaking role in Sevuppu Villu, a Tamil film starring actor Ravichandran. He continued minor roles through the late 1970s.

Janagaraj's career however spun silver in the 1980s. Beginning with Paarvai (1982), and continuing in Apoorva Pirargal (1983), Sindhu Bhairavi (1985), Rajadhi Raja (1989), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), and Agni Natchathiram (1989), Janagaraj became a popular comedian in Tamil Nadu. He is known for his peculiar voice and face expression.

Janagaraj has also acted in supporting roles in films like Nayagan (1986), Annamalai (1992) and Baasha (1995). His latest roles were in King (2002), Aayutha Ezhuthu (2004), and M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004) in supporting roles.

R. Sundarrajan is an Indian director, actor and writer for Tamil language films. Active primarily in the 1980s and the 1990s as a film maker, he appeared more often as an actor thereafter.
