Manoj Bharathiraja
Manoj K. Bharathi (born September 11, 1976 as Manoj Bharathiraja) is a Tamil film actor. He has starred in several films, and is most noted as the son of director Bharathiraja.
Before becoming an actor in the Tamil film industry, Manoj worked as an assistant director. He did a course in Theatre arts at the University of South Florida.
He made his acting debut in the 1999 Tamil film Taj Mahal, directed by his father himself alongside Riya Sen, who made her debut as well. Subsequently Manoj appeared in films like Samuthiram alongside Sarath Kumar and Murali[disambiguation needed and Kadal Pookkal, directed by his father, sharing screen space with Murali once again. R. Muthuraman (1929–1981) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language films. He was a leading Tamil actor during the 1960s and 1970s and was fondly called Navarasa Thilakam. He paired with all the leading heroines of his time and acted in over a hundred films. Muthuraman's son Karthik is also a Tamil actor and politician, whose son Gautham Karthik is also an actor who made his debut in Kadal (2013).
